Below on this page is the sched­ule of all the meet­ings of Gold­en Gate Area, Nar-Anon Fam­ily Groups. All times are in the US Pa­ci­fic time zone.

Please recheck this page for last minute changes with­in 24 hours of the meet­ing.

Un­less other­wise noted, meet­ings are open (mean­ing guests are wel­come to at­tend a meet­ing, even if they do not have an ad­dic­ted fam­ily mem­ber or friend). You are wel­come to con­tact us if you aren't sure whether to go.

There is no reg­is­tra­tion or res­er­va­tion. Just come to a meet­ing. The first meet­ing is free. Af­ter that, mem­bers give vol­un­tary con­tri­bu­tions to sup­port the group. New­com­ers will re­ceive a small pack­et of free lit­er­a­ture to get start­ed. The groups also have other lit­er­a­ture for sale — cash-only.

This group is open to all Nar-Anon mem­bers, but is especially for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to ad­dic­tion. The group uses Continuing our Journey Af­ter Loss as a text during the meet­ings.

This group expects to remain a virtual meet­ing even af­ter in-per­son meet­ings can begin again. They are not formally associated with the Gold­en Gate Area, but they have asked to be listed here. Mem­bers from all areas are wel­come to join.

Is it dif­fi­cult to make it on the days or to the lo­ca­tions of these meet­ings? We hope you make a spe­cial ef­fort to come to at least one meet­ing to learn how we deal with ad­dic­tion and to pick up our lit­er­a­ture, even if you can­not com­mit to com­ing reg­u­lar­ly. If there are a few peo­ple in­ter­es­ted in a new lo­ca­tion and day of the week, we could con­sid­er start­ing an­other group. Let us know what you are look­ing for.
